"de Meern" is a satellite city of Utrecht and in conveniently located at the heart of the country. Utrecht is some 50 Km (30 Mi) from Amsterdam. Amsterdam has a large International airport (code AMS) that receives flights from every continent.
Utrecht is a typical Dutch city with a historic city center with historic buildings featuring the highest belltower of the country and canals. It also offers many shops, shopping centers and many cafe's and restaurants.
Utrecht is the central hub of the Dutch railway system (Nederlandse Spoorwegen, NS). Most main line trains stop at Utrecht.
All main-line trains in the direction of Eindhoven, Maastricht and Nijmegen stop at Utrecht.

There are several trains per hour from both stations.
Lines 126, 127 and 145 of Gemeentelijk Vervoerbedrijf Utrecht (GVU, municipal transport authority) service 'Bedrijventerrein Oudenrijn' (industrial estate ouderijn) 4 times per hour. The route takes appx 18 minutes from Utrecht central station. Exit at bustop "KPMG". This bustop is directly left of our building. More information on the GVB website
Almost all highways in the Netherlands converge at Utrecht so the site is easy to reach. Be careful not to get lost in the highway-jungle near Utrecht and to take the right exit to reach the location.
The venue is located at industrial estate Ouderijn (Bedrijventerrein Oudenrijn) on the outskirts of de Meern, close to major highway intersection Ouderijn.

Utrecht has many hotels in every price range. We recommend hotels near the city center as the venue is located on an industrial estate. The venue is only a short taxi or bus ride from the city center. Some hotels:
If you desire to stay in Amsterdam please be prepared for some 45min to 1hr travel time between the two cities. (Largely due to traffic or public transport delay)
